Meet The Owners

Akshay Jhanjee, The Founder Of Khyber Grill Frontier Indian Cuisine & Caterers, Is A Second-Generation Restaurateur And Caterer. The Son Of Raja Jhanjee, Co-owner of the famous Bukhara grill in NYC, Jhanjee first learned his craft by working alongside his father since the age of 14.
Akshay Went Through An Extensive Training In Every Hospitality Department From Restaurant, Catering, Bar & Banquets. He Eventually Branched Off In 2011 By Opening A Restaurant In The Heart Of New Jersey, South Plainfield, Has Now Established A Phenomenal Reputation In The South- Asian Restaurant And Catering Business.

Reservations

We very much appreciate your business and will be as lenient as possible regarding reservations. Reservations are accepted for parties of 2 or more and It is acceptable to be within 15 minutes of your reservation with us but after, we reserve the right to cancel or push your previous reservation. Because of state regulations only allowing 50% capacity at this time, we unfortunately must be more stringent regarding our policy for lateness. On Fridays and Saturdays, we may require a small deposit for a reservation. Our staff will work with you as best they can but must respect current standards and policies.
